Fresno HCAP Leverages One-e-App to Connect Low-Income Populations to Critical Health and Social Services

Fresno Healthy Communities Access Partners (FHCAP) is not afraid to push boundaries to help build a better tomorrow for the low-income populations in the Fresno area. Innovation and risk-taking are key factors contributing to FHCAP’s ongoing success. It is that innovative mindset that led FHCAP to leverage One-e-App, Social Interest Solutions’ Web-based eligibility and enrollment system, to connect Fresno’s underserved population to much needed health and social services.

FHCAP is a 10 year old nonprofit organization consisting of twelve healthcare and community organizations that collaborate to improve access to care for the underserved population in Fresno and the San Joaquin Valley. Fresno, a culturally diverse county and an agricultural mecca for the nation, has a large population of migrant workers, high poverty rates and a high percentage of uninsured.
